Supervisor (civil/structural/architectural)

Job Description

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Supervisor (civil/structural/architectural).

Coordinate and execute the specific assigned construction activities to realise the Project Plan activities within the required time frame, budget and quality.
Overall supervision of the labourers and or subcontractors in the execution of the delegated workload to ensure that work instructions and procedures are adhered to.
Estimating materials required for planned and scheduled on-site tasks.
Balancing of manpower requirements for planned and scheduled on-site tasks.
Identification of additional and specialised tools and equipments required on-site, in liaison with the Construction manager.
Liaison with other site departments, subcontractors and with the Client’s representative to ensure all necessary safety and Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) requirements are identified and implemented.
Verification of task documentation on completion, including verification of previously identified QA/QC requirements.
Preparation of daily and weekly time sheets.
Compilation and submission of task reports.
Conducting weekly Safety-Toolbox meetings to discuss and resolve any problem arising during those weeks’ operational- activities.
Applying the principles of supervision (planning/organizing/leadership/control) to all daily activities.
Evaluation of capabilities of personnel under his supervision.
Maintaining an inventory of all materials, equipment and tooling issued under his control.
Adhering to the Tool Control Procedures.
Adherence to the discipline procedures laid down by the company.
Report on Construction activities as required/ requested.


Graduate of Civil and or structural Engineering or equivalent. (MTS).
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Minimum of 10 years working experience in the construction of which at least 5 years in a supervisory position.
Good communication capabilities. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
At least 3-5 years experience working abroad, preferably in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
